Palliative care program

Goal: Development of the provision of palliative care to those suffering and protection of their right for dignified living through the influence at the macro-level aimed at including changes in existing legislation, and through the improvement of legal awareness of beneficiaries and development of alternative services.

Priorities:

- provide comprehensive care to patients, who have incurable disease, in order to improve their and their families' living conditions;

- assist in development of National Palliative Care program in Tajikistan;

- assist in capacity building of specialists on palliative care;

-provision of support for the development of the national strategy on palliative care;

-support for the provision of palliative care service within the Nursing Hospital in Dushanbe;

- develop of the resource center for palliative care within the State Scientific Cancer Center in Dushanbe and Cancer Center in Khorog
